Lawn Maintenance

WEEKLY AND BI-WEEKLY LAWN MAINTENANCE

We offer weekly and bi-weekly lawn maintenance. Lawn maintenance includes mowing the lawn, trimming the edges, and blowing all the lawn debris from the driveway, sidewalks and walkways. In addition, trash and other debris will also be cleaned up around the property to keep the area looking sharp. All bed edges will also be maintained and kept as sharp as possible. Depending on your preference, all lawn clippings will be bagged and removed from the property or placed at a designated disposal site on the property.

Fertilizing Programs
We can enhance your property through a fertilizing program specifically for your lawn. This will bring a thick, green and healthy lawn to your property. We offer a pet, kid and environmentally friendly program to help promote your lawn’s appearance and health.

Spring Cleanups
For spring cleanups, the edges of the property and parking areas will be swept free of road sand from the winter months.. Any other debris or branches left over from the winter will be removed from the property or stored at an approved on site location. This is also a great time to dethatch the lawn area on your property. This will give the lawn a thorough cleaning and help stand it back up after being covered by snow.

Fall Cleanups
A fall cleanup will consist of the removal of leaves and debris from the property. The areas covered consist of lawn areas, gardens and parking facilities. This is a good time to trim all overgrown and/or dead plants to ensure a neat appearance over the winter. Once complete, the lawn will be cut to the appropriate winter height. All leaves and debris will be removed or placed in a designated location approved by the customer.

Garden Creation
We can create a garden in an area on your property which currently may not look its best. We can also add seasonal flowers and perennials as well as other types of plants that will enhance the look of your property.

Mulch (Delivery & Application) 
All garden areas will be weeded and edged. In addition, all garden areas will be re-mulched with high quality mulch of your choosing. Mulch will be hand applied to ensure evenness and attention to detail. Mulch samples are available to assist you in deciding what color and texture mulch best compliments your property. If you prefer to apply the mulch on your own but do not have a means of transporting the material, feel free to give us a call. We offer mulch delivery at competitive rates.

Edging and Weeding
For this service, we can re-edge your existing beds to get them looking sharp again. We can also clean the gardens of any weeds to freshen up your garden’s appearance. This service is generally done when mulch is applied and redone a few months after mulch is applied to help freshen up the appearance of your gardens. This is also a great time to put down a thin layer of fresh mulch or touch up a few spots with some extra mulch.

Dethatching 
Dethatching is generally done in the spring. Dethatching removes the layer of dead grass which sit between the soil and your lawn. If too much thatch builds up, it creates the opportunity for insects and other lawn diseases to hide. Dethatching keeps your lawn healthy and disease free.

Aeration 
Aeration can be performed in the spring and fall. Aeration helps get air, nutrients and water down to the root system of your lawn. After aeration is complete, typically overseed is applied to help thicken your lawn and choke out any weeds.

Hedge and Shrub Trimming  
Hedge & Shrub Trimming is done as needed to keep hedges and shrubs from becoming overgrown. This helps maintain the proper growth and shape. From long boxwoods to corkscrews, we can trim each shrub to give it a unique appearance. Feel free to contact us for information on when and how to trim the bushes appropriately to fit your needs.
